Avoid!!
The previous version of this product was my go-to moisturiser, and I was a huge advocate of its results. However, the same definitely cant be said for the newer version of the product as I look for a replacement. It leaves my skin incredibly oily, and I'm somewhat relieved from reading the other reviews that I'm not the only one this has happened to. As the old adage goes, if its not broken, why fix it? Stupidly bought the bigger version of this bottle which only adds to my irritation.
(Slight) Positive: The new lotion is so oily I no longer have to carry a beard oil with me as once I rub this in, it gives it enough shine for the rest of the day!

Not as good as the previous SPF15
I have used the previous SPF15 facial fuel for years, but when I went to pick up a new bottle I was told it had been replaced with this which was much the same but with slightly higher sun protection.
It’s not however anywhere near the same- this is effectively sun cream, and not a particularly nice one either. It leaves my skin greasy and shiny for hours. It smells like au cream and I even have to wash my hands after putting it on.
It does moisturise, but so does supermarket sun cream.
I really couldn’t recommend this. Unfortunately I was daft enough to buy the new bigger bottle.

Perfect for my skin, light and long lasting
I have read several other reviews here and a lot of people really don't know how to buy or use skin care products... If you have oily skin, buy a moisturiser made for this, and of course you do not rub SPF moisturiser close to your eyes, of course it will sting, any moisturiser in your eye will sting if it has SPF? For me however this product is perfect, I have naturally balanced skin, so I only need a light moisturiser and this is perfect if you use the recommended amount (a little pea sized amount as recommended goes a long way) and the sun protection is great. It's a little expensive but I don't mind paying more for something that goes so well on my skin.

Great forumla and smell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always look for lower SPF moisturisers for my face and, not loving my previous one, found this. The higher SPF ones can cause me more spots and not sit right on my skin.
This one is awesome - first off it smells amazing, a soft minty zesty scent like most of the Facial Fuel line. You don't need much to cover the whole face as it spreads really well and leaves the feeling hydrated with a slightly matte finish, which I like. My face is really smooth after applying as well.
The ingredients are great to have, vitamins E and C help my skin look better and caffeine brightens in the morning.

Bring back SPF 15
I can see many of your customers have asked that you stop doing the SPF 19 and bring back the SPF 15.
All your replies say that you are talking to your staff about it but you never seem to do anything about it. Why not? Clearly the old SPF 15 was a better product.
So are you going to change things so your customers are happy or not?

How to ruin a great product!
I used the previous version of the FF with SPF 15 for years. It had a great consistency and great smell. This latest carnation is appalling with it being more watery and leave your face looking very oily. I can believe a brand like Kiehl’s would make such a massive error!

Disappointing
Kiehl's had a great product with facial fuel SPF 15, but this new version is unappealing. Where the old product was easily absorbed, the new one is slightly oily and leaves a shine on the skin. As another reviewer mentions, it's like using a (cheap) sun cream.

Was great, now awful
I can't believe they messed with a tried and tested (and loved - 4.4*) formula and turned it into this greasy mess. What a shame. Discontinue pls and go back to the old spf 15 which was great. Luckily I only got this as a free sample so bought the white pot ultra instead - shame there's no spf built into that one though.
