Amazing product - been using it for 30 years.I have been a loyal Kiehl’s customer since the mid 1980s when there was one store on 13th Street in NYC. That’s a solid 30 years. Over the last several years I’ve watched in disbelief as great tried and true products have been discontinued and subpar new products introduced. Now the unthinkable seems to be happening to the magical skin elixir Blue Astringent Herbal Lotion. First the bottle size was changed to one choice - too small. Now it is listed as out of stock! If you discontinue this product you might as well close up shop. Kiehl’s get you house in order. You are about to lose a client of 30 years! I know I’m not alone in saying this.

Something doesn’t seem right with Kiehls latelyAnybody else get the feeling that something fishy is up? I’ve been using Kiehls for more than 20 years and they keep discontinuing some of their most popular products. I know they were sold many years ago…quality dropped drastically since, they don’t seem to care what customers think anymore and their service has been awful the last few times I’ve ordered. But discontinuing THE product the brand is know for? Doesn’t pass the smell test. Something weird is going on, discuss amongst yourselves but this isn’t how a company behaves that wants to sell product. Absolutely this was one of their top selling products and they just randomly pull it?
I don’t think so.

Blue Astringent Herbal (Spot Treatment Alternative) TonerI can only suggest to use this product as a spot treatment only. Put a little bit on a cotton pad and use on acne spots. This product has a lot of Alcohol in it and more than likely will dry out your face. So for the love of all that is holy, use a moisturizer afterwords.
You may ask, why not just use a spot treatment specifically labeled as a spot treatment? Some people may notice that their products that worked before don't work anymore - Their skin is probably becoming immune to it. This Astringent becomes a great alternative!
Also, don't be fooled by the word "lotion" in the name. Just a play on words as most toners in other countries are called Lotions.

Best Purchase I Have Ever MadeI have always had good skin, except for my chin! Every month I have a painful breakout on my chin. I have been to dermatologists and have tried everything! Now in my mid-twenties I thought the breakouts would have finally stopped and they hadn't. I wandered into Kiehls on a whim with a friend as I was passing by it in the mall and figured "Why not?". I spoke with the sales girl who was so sweet! She spent so much time with me and recommended this product. I am happy to say I have not had a single pimple on my chin for 6 months now! I use this product only on my chin, twice a day. My skin is not over dried and is perfectly clear. Kiehls is now my go-to place for skin care products.

Flagship Product - not avail + add bulk optionThis has been 100% the most solid product Kiehl's has ever put out, I've been using it for a couple decades and have recommended it countless times to family, friends and co-workers.
I was so disappointed when you discontinued the extra large bottle a couple years ago and was forced to pay more for buying twice the smaller size. Does Kiehl's not care about the environment by not offering bulk anymore? That's unfortunately a huge fail for an otherwise great company.
Now even the 16 oz and 8 oz have been consistently out of stock.
This is your flagship product Kiehl's. It's your work horse that gets the job done. Please do right by your customers and get it back on shelves, and add a bulk larger size option to limit packaging waste.

Great but disappointed in discontinued larger sizeI have struggled with acne for the majority of my life and every time I find a solution, my skin finds a way to change. Since I started using this product 3 years ago, I haven't experienced the change that usually happens. I do love this product, however I am sorely disappointed that the larger size bottle has been discontinued, therefore causing me to have to order more frequently. It's not economical. I don't have a store within a half hour and it takes more than a week to ship to me, so it isn't always convenient to have to order every month and a half.

Great for acne without the burnAs I got further along in my thirties, I started having worse acne than when I was a teenager. I am also a professional dancer, constantly sweating or wearing heavy makeup- all leading to more acne. Yet toners and cleansers made for breakouts are always too harsh on my "aging" skin, so I decided to try this one. I had used the Kielhs cucumber toner for years, which I still love, but this blue astringent is gentle enough for my skin, even with the alcohol, and finally cleared my acne. It feels so refreshing and calms the skin as well . Awesome product!

Please bring this back!!!Been using this product for close to 20 years and it's been absolutely amazing - not sure what is going on and why it's been out of stock for so long with no information from Kiehl's. It's the only product that prevents excessive razor burn and bumps for me. Kiehl's can you inform us if it's been officially discontinued please as need to shop for alternatives. This product was the main reason I used Kiehl's and their other products. If this is now gone, I won't be ordering anything else from them. Such a shame.
