The holy grail for acne!!!
I bought this cleanser about a week ago and it has literally saved my skin! I have had mild-moderate acne for years, and I literally cannot remember the last time my skin felt so smooth! I am using this toner with a witch hazel toner that has alcohol as an astringent because I have ridiculously oily skin. I read the reviews on here before buying and noticed a few people complaining about how the previous gel cleanser was better than this one, so I was a little hesitant to buy it, but I am so glad I did! I also love the fact that I had this option size as opposed to the bigger version, as a first time buyer & of course free delivery! Thank you Kiehls!

Old formula was better
For any Kiehls loyal fans out there, they would have known the old formula is so much better than the new one. I have tried using this new formula for two years by trying it on and off. It simply just doesn't help with my acne. The old formula was my holy grail product and i swore by it, I am so disappointed that this brand always discontinued some great products which I love and adore. Kiehls left me with no option but to find another brand's cleanser because nothing else in their brand works. Really don't like this new product the texture is bad and doesn't foam up properly. I don't feel refreshed after using this product. It simply does nothing.

Works on my sensitive skin
I've been using Neutrogena's acne cleanser for years even though I don't really have acne. I'll get an occasional blemish, but mostly I use it because everytime I tried to switch my face would get really irritated. When I saw that this herbal cleanser has salicylic acid in it (same active ingredient as Neutrogena), I thought I'd give it a try. It's a winner! No irritation and I love Kiehl's, so I'm definitely sticking with it.
The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is the consistency is a little too thin/liquid as some other reviewers have mentioned. And the scent is hard to get used to; it smells like I'm washing my face with toothpaste or mouthwash!

My Favorite Cleanser Ever
I have been having issues with acne since I started taking the pill TEN YEARS AGO, and this is the first cleanser that has helped my skin. I even tried Pro Active for a while and I was still breaking out.
I use this product with a Clarisonic brush, which I would highly recommend. I find that when I just use it with my fingers, I don't feel like I get as deep of a clean. Also, a little bit goes a long way when you use the brush. This product lasts me FOREVER. You really get your money's worth with a product that isn't even very expensive to begin with.
I would recommend to whole Blue Herbal line. It's really worked for me.

clears acne!
I always seem to have at least one or two pimples on my face, mainly my forehead because I have bangs and i guess its from dirty hair clogging pores, but this cleanser clears them up within a couple of days if I use it morning and night, along with applying the blue herbel gel spot treatment a few times a day. It makes my face feel so fresh and tingly after. The only little complaint i have is the texture. It's a little too watery and hard to keep on your fingers without it dripping all the way down your arm. Also, getting it to lather is a pain, but it doesn't affect the outcome of the product, I still love it and will continue to use it! :)

Amazing Product
I have been using this product for nearly a year now and I love it! I keep purchasing it because it is the best face wash I have ever owned. I use to have horrible acne and it is completely gone! Every now and then I'll get a tiny pimple but as soon as I use this stuff it is gone within 2 days guaranteed. I use it every night and every morning. It makes your face feel like someone's blowing mint on it, it is so refreshing! I highly recommend it. I have super oily skin and this keeps it at bay. However, during the day my face does get oily again but it keeps the oil away for about 6 hours so that's not bad at all!! Try it out, you wont be disappointed.

The only cleanser you'll need!
I have finally found the one! This is the one cleanser that leaves my skin clean, healthy, and refreshed. It's been 8 months since I've discovered one of Kiehl's secrets for healthy, acne/blemish free skin - and I"M HOOKED! Having combination skin myself, I am prone to the occasional mild breakout. I love the lightweight lather and invigorating hint of cooling menthol paired with the deep cleaning properties of the cinnamon bark and ginger root extracts. I am definitely noticing a more even skin tone and have not had a break out in months! If you are fed up with other cleansers full of chemicals and empty promises, try Kiehl's Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser...you wont regret it!

gentle but effective
I only use this cleanser on my chin area because of my tendency to break out in that spot due to hormonal reasons. I am overly dry on my cheeks and other areas that using this on those areas might cause tightness and dry feel of the skin. Anyway, I use it twice a day and never would have any drying unlike other acne cleansers I used in the past. It has been truly remarkable in that the big and small acne that I used to get every week hasn't errupted once since I have been using this. I also use the Acne Blemish Control Daily clearing treatment twice a day. I think these two used together has been my perfect control solution.
