Great moisturizer for daytime use!
I've gone through a couple bottles of this moisturizer and it's been great for my acne prone skin. It never made me break out and did not irritate my skin. I have dry/oily patches and while I think this moisturizer does wonders for the oily t-zone area - it still leaves the dry areas very dry. I only use this moisturizer during the day and use the Ultra Facial Cream at nighttime because I need something more moisturizing for when I sleep. If you have combination skin like me - I would def recommend alternating between the two different moisturizers!

Love it! My favorite
I have oily skin and get acne mostly around my U-zone (cheek, around mouth)
So I started using gel type moisturizers, but found that they are too light especially during fall/winter times. So to get the perfect combination of moisture and lightweight texture, I used this lotion, and it's awesome!
I'm pretty bummed that my skin is too oily for the Ultra Facial Cream, because all my friends with dry and almost perfect skin(no acne) tell me that it's amazing, but this lotion makes it up for me :-)
Kiehl's skincare product line is one of the few brands that I have come back for more.

Love!
I tried the Ultra Facial oil-free line as soon as it came out. I used to use the regular Ultra Facial line and was finding my skin too oily by the end of the day; I am also prone to break outs. This oil-free line is especially ideal for these hot summer months...although I really wish the moisturizer had SPF. I absolutely love the unique texture of this moisturizer! It's thick, cool, calming and absorbs immediately. Also, contrary to a previous review, I do not find it sticky at all. The cleanser is also fantastic...a pea size amount lathers beautifully and removes all dirt and makeup from the day and when rinsed, my skin feels squeaky clean. I will definitely buy this line again and again...and hopefully the moisturizer with SPF will be arriving soon!

Not good for oily skin
The amount of Alcohol Denat is the main reason that I don't like this product (it's near the top in the ingredient list). Alcohol denat is seen as an enemy for oily skin. It makes you feel as if the cream absorbed very fast and left your skin less oily but it's just temporary. Alcohol denat dehydrates your skin and force your skin to produce more oil to balance. I.e., it will make your skin even more oily later. So be careful with any products that have Alcohol denat on top of the ingredient list!
Another thing is that this product contains too much chemical ingredients while there are very few natural ingredients.
After applying, I feel like it hasn't absorbed completely and there is still something greasy on my face.
After just a few hours, my skin becomes oily again and even worse than when I don't apply.

Disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a poor replacement for the Sodium PCA Oil Free Moisturizer. It leaves my skin sticky. I feel like there is a layer of film on my face all day. I've used 1/2 the bottle hoping I would get used to it, but have decided to use the rest of the bottle on my hands or legs (either that or throw it away). PLEASE return the Sodium PCA Oil Free Moisturizer!!!!!

I love it
Well.. I was kinda worried about this product because I saw some other reviews saying that this product did not keep skin moisturized. I had been using general moisturizer(ultra facial moisturizer) about more than half an year and I had been satisfied with it except my face remained little bit oily an entire day. So I tried this product recently and I totally love this one. My face skin is complex with oily surface but dehydration inside the skin. I have a couple of acne. It keeps my skin hydrated with non-oily surface. I would love it better if it gets cheaper.

Not as good as your old version of oil-free
I and my partner used your old oil free moisturizing cream for about over 10 years and are greatly disappointed in your new version. This one stays like a film on top of the skin and does not get absorbed. It is heavier and less penetrating.
We hope you go back to your old formula as our skin thrived when we used it. Don't lose 2 loyal customers.

Bring bam sodium pca!
I have used Kiehls products my entire adult life. This is the second product that has been changed and I am beside myself. This new product is sticky and sits on top of my skin! If anyone has found a replacement that they like please please let me know!
