Finally found what I've been searching for!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After several years of looking for a non greasy spf 50 for very sensitive skin I've finally found it. I've tried sensitive sunblock from all the leading brands, even those specialising in sensitive skin but they all irritated my face and neck.
I've combination skin (really oily t zone) which is easily irritated by chemical and mineral suncream. I've been using this below my make up for two weeks and I haven't had one irritation. I'll definitely getting the larger size next time as it's better value. If you have a really oily t zone use a tiny bit of mattifying primer on top of the suncream to stop from shining at the end of the day.

WARNING! This product contains alcohol.
Such a shame this product uses denatured alcohol and it is very high on the list. It smells and feels like rubbing alcohol on my face! The alcohol should be the main ingredient that make this sunscreen immediately degreases the skin on application, and quickly dry to a matte finish. However, the alcohol will cause dryness and irritation to the skin, or even erosion of the surface of skin and damage your skin barrier. It might be appealing to oily skin types, but a dehydrated skin often lead to the production of more sebum, making your skin more oily in the long term! Therefore this product is not suitable for all skin types and I would not recommend it to anyone.

WARNING - contains Alcohol!
One of the main ingredients in this is Alcohol Denat, which is used to give the matte finish. It’s also terribly bad news for anyone with sensitive skin. I didn’t notice it contained this until too late, which I feel stupid for because the product smells strongly of alcohol. After two weeks of using daily, my skin was always taught, dry, and eventually started flaking. I haven’t had this problem since I used clearsil 15 years ago. Avoid if you can!

Nice little SPF!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Working from home I haven't had much chance to try this but I always make a point to use it whenever I do venture out. It applies well, doesn't make my sensitive skin react and doesn't have a strong scent. I don't find I need to use loads of this but it does sink in really quickly for me so I have to work fast unless I apply in small amounts in small areas which I don't always have the patience for! It does mean that you don't have to wait ages to apply make-up over the top though which is handy. I've not yet run out of my sample size but can see myself getting a full size when I do.

Some benefits but needs tweaking
It contains alcohol which shouldn't be used in a product targeted to oily skin. Alcohol makes the skin drier and the skin produces more oil to compensate for this.
I see this more as a product 'in progress'. It is good but not quite there, i wish they would loose the alcohol in it and find an effective alternative. It also feels 'chemically' on the skin and i can smell the alcohol, which also gives a ' shiny' texture to the skin thus making oily skin look 'shinier'.

Game changer !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used the ultra facial cream spf30 for a long time, and I love it. I was so excited to use the new defence aqua gel SPF50 and I wasn’t disappointed. It goes on to the skin so nicely, absorbs quickly and leaves my skin looking fresh and hydrated. It’s a great alternative to the heavier ultra facial cream. I used it under makeup and didn’t need to use a primer. After using the sample for a few days I ordered a full size product pretty fast. It’s pricey but you get what you pay for. There aren’t many moisturisers with SPF 50 that I haven’t found to be tacky and sticky.

Finally
I have oily skin and can't stand thick and fragrance sun lotions, particularly those with a strong chemical scent!... This Gel is SUPERB! I have spent hundreds and hundreds on sun care lotions over the years in the quest for the best for my skin type, I believe I have now found it with ' Ultra Light Daily UV Defense Aqua Gel SPf 50 by Kieh's! My face is feeling smooth, fresh and matte, makeup glides over and my face is no longer looking like an oil slick, I can actually enjoy summer and humid working conditions without feeling like my face needs washing. Also, there is no white cast which other sun lotions in the past has made me look ill, washed out or tinted ones that make me look orange. There is just translucent gorgeousness. Thank-you Kieh's!!

Quickly Absorbed and High level of protection
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed using this product and found the gel easy to apply and quickly absorbed unlike other Spf creams I have used this didn't just 'sit' on the skin. It's a light gel formula and it was a matte finish which is important to me. After a number of uses in combination with my normal skincare routine I experienced no irritation at all or adverse impact on my skin tone, so it was a great addition to give me the SPF protection I was lacking. The tube is quite small so using on a daily basis with adequate product I felt I would go through it quite quickly.
