I like it but not for everyday use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was very effective! I like applying it before bed or when I am home all day after I use a facial mask because it really moisturizes. However, I have combination skin (oily in the T-Zone) and this under makeup doesn't work. Its very heavy and makes my T-Zone area become very shiny. I like the intense moisture because sometimes thats exactly what my face needs especially during the winter months. However, I use it as a treatment rather than an everyday moisturizer. For dry skin this would be a must however for combination and oily skin this is too much for everyday use especially with makeup over it.

This product really works!
In 1970 in Austin, TX, a friend who had gone to NYU introduced me to her favorite skin care and shampoo products that she had discovered while in New York. I tried Ultra Facial Moisturizer and my skin literally drank it in. I have used it daily--morning and night since then. There is nothing else like it. My experience is a test of time for this product. I am now in my late 60s and my skin is still youthful looking with hardly any wrinkles. I get compliments all the time. For women looking for a product that produces results for a lifetime, Ultra Facial Moisturizer used daily does.

Noticeable difference!
I have an oily T-zone, and when I tried this product out in stores, I was hesitant to purchase it because of its thick texture. However, I went for it, and it was well worth it. My cheeks used to be very dry (DAT read 25 %... yikes), but after a week of using this product, I've seen a noticeable difference in hydration level- friends and family have complimented my radiant skin as well! The price is well worth it- I only use a pea-sized amount each application, just enough to cover my cheeks and chin (avoiding forehead and nose unless very dry). Highly recommend this product, best lotion I've used.

A Must Have
I've been an AVID Kiehl's customer for over a dozen years. This was my very first purchase, and to this day, remains my very favorite. Over the years, I've sampled and tried almost every moisturizer and product Kiehl's has released, while I've found some new "love it!" products (most especially the current love-affair I'm having with Rose Artica and my Abysseine Eye Cream, no matter what new product is in the rotation, this stays the same. It's provides excellent moisturizing benefits without feeling heavy. It's great for day or night, summer or winter. If I went to a desert island, this is one of the five things I'd bring.

The best I've tried so far!
I've heard amazing things about this facial cream! Kim kardashian swears by it before she primes her skin, in reviews she has quoted it helps her makeup stay onto her skin all day, so I had to give it ago. Most face creams can be greasy, this one is brilliant value as you get a lot in the bottle and it's very affordable for everyone! This one is not as greasy as others and if you leave it to soak in your skin it really hydrates it and no grease what so ever is left behind, it's changed my skin for the better, really worth every penny I won't be looking back or shopping around for anything new it's great for dry skin

You're only as old as you feel!
I received a bottle of Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer as a birthday gift 20 years ago and have been using this product ever since. It's light, not greasy, adds just the right amount of moisture to my skin so my make-up goes on smoothly over it. I believe this product has definitely contributed to keeping me looking and feeling much more youthful than my 70 years!
For several years, it was difficult to buy Kiehl's products in my area, but since a Kiehl's store opened in Somerset Mall in Troy, MI, it's much more convenient.

I have combination skin that is very temperamental. Sometimes it's oily, other times its extremely dry. This seems to give me the right balance. I also use the Ultra Facial Cleanser which seems to work well for me. I also recommend everyone who uses this product to use it when your skin is slightly damp because it absorbs more effectively and quickly! If I need more moisture, I'll use the moisturizing cream. This is great for year around, I'll always carry a little one with me. The Ultra line in general is just fantastic.

Gentle yet effective
I received my first bottle as a gift. I loved it because I have super sensitive, eczema prone skin. Literally everything irritates my face. BUT this product has already made a dramatic improvement in the appearance of my skin. I still have breakouts from every product I use but at least this moisturizer has made my face look smoother overall. I have struggled since puberty and I’ve never had what you call good skin. I’m 50 now and I’m just happy to finally find a much needed moisturizer for my aging skin. All the expensive TOP NAME products have been major disappointments. They’re too harsh and contain too many irritating chemicals.
