The "improvement" really made it worthless for me
I used several jars of this product with raving results, I liked it because it did wonders for my skin and since I was not working during the pandemic, I even used it during the day in smaller amounts, it absorbed quickly and made my face glow and feel really hydrated. The jars lasted a long time and then it came time to I re order and what a disappointment - it was changed, now it's really waxy and very greasy and my skin doesn't absorb it. Very difficult to apply because it's so thick and so oily that gets on my hair during my sleep. I'm being polite giving it 3 stars, really I feel it's a one star now.

Overnight Hydration Lock
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy Kiehl's Ultra Facial Overnight Mask. First of all, I love that it is a clean product, fragrance free, and no parabens. This mask is thick and balm like in texture but turns into oil like consistency when spreading. I have been using as directed at night for 3x per week. It is a hydrating treat for dehydration winter skin. Skin feels smoother in the morning and moisturized. I like this better than other overnight masks that I have tried with fragrances. I also feel like it is more hydrating than others. The benefits to this mask is to treat flaky dry skin all while you sleep. I would definitely buy this and recommend this to others.

Unique texture & impressive results!

It has a firm, balm like texture that quickly melts into a creamy dream of a mask. It is deeply hydrating without causing any issues with my blemish prone skin, I wake up and my skin feels so incredibly soft. After a week of using this every night, my fine lines look plumped and less noticeable, and my dry patches have entirely disappeared—no flakiness here! This mask is an absolute must have for dry skin folks, it's earned itself a permanent spot on my top shelf.

Extremely disappointed
I have 3 Kiehl's products that are my absolute favorite and complete staples in my life. This overnight use to be #1. However, I will no longer be seeing Kiehl's as my favorite skin care. This new formula is now a thick ex that doesn't melt into my skin and allow my pores to breathe. It has been "upgraded* to a what feels like a heavy car wax and completely broke my skin out after 1 night. I was nervous trying it for the first time because I know how much I loved the jelly version. The team that made this horrendous change obviously didn't not test it on themselves

Fully Hydrated Skin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really loving the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Overnight Rehydrating Mask with 10.5% Squalene. I suffer from really dry skin, especially on my face, and it usually is hard for me to find a long lasting moisturizer. This Rehydration Mask left my skin feeling soft and fully hydrated. It is very easy to apply, and I added it to my bedtime skincare routine. I just apply it on my face right before bedtime, and wake up with my skin feeling moisturized and hydrated. This is definitely a keeper, and I would highly recommend adding Kiehl's Ultra Facial Overnight Rehydrating Mask to your skincare routine , especially if you suffer from dry skin.

True game changer facial mask!

I have been using this face mask a few times over the last few weeks and I am really enjoying my results I have gotten since starting to use this mask. The ingredients are a powerhouse of phenomenal components to help boost a healthy glow look and feel to my skin. This one has a nice rich thickness to it which I love how it feels on my face. I have never gotten such great results in just a couple of uses of this. I will definitely continue using this product! Very pleased with my results.

Omg beyond greasy i almost can't stand it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. Unless your skin is so beyond dry that it's almost cracking, this stuff is way way way too greasy feeling. I did not enjoy wearing it before bed. I barely used any(a little goes a very long way) and rubbed it in for almost ten minutes. Still super oily.
I got in bed and just felt like I had layers of grease on my freshly cleaned skin.
I will say that in the morning, I used face wipes and used a lancome essence and my skin was very soft and supple, more than usual so that's a perk.
Unless your skin is insanely dry, I do not recommend.

Thick, Balm like
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Kiehl's overnight Mask works! It's very hydrating. It makes my dry skin very happy. My face feels good even after washing the next morning. It does leave my face somewhat greasy but I'm not complaining.
It's a super thick mask. It has the texture of a balm, it doesn't move no matter how you hold the jar.
It's very hard for my to rub it into my skin, it just doesn't smooth over. I instead rub my fingers over the mask, then between my fingers and pat it on my skin and it works.
It has a mild not so nice scent. I think I would prefer unscented. It's probably from the squalane.
The most important thing for me is it works. I actually apply this to my dry hands too and it helps them too.
It works.
