It costs a little more but you use your face everyday.
I have normal to oily skin and take a low maintenance approach to skincare. I cleanse and I moisturize. I've used the same common store brand for the past 12 years. I am a 36-year old man.
Determined to keep my good skin, I decided to visit a Kiehl's store and add a couple steps to my regimen and find tailored products for me and some preventive care.
It's silly to say, but I get excited to use this face cleaner and the new subsequent steps I take. This stuff is legit. My face gets squeaky clean in a non-stripped, resilient kind of way. It doesn't take very much product in your hand, this tube should last at least 3 months.

BEST Face Wash of My Adult Life
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes, I am only 26 but I have searched years for something for my ever so complex combination skin. Dry on my temples, oily in my T-zone, occasionally dry on my cheeks but oily by the end of the day all over. If you have combination skin, just buy this. You use a drop of, it lathers so well and leaves your skin completely clean feeling without over drying like other OTC cleansers do. Bought the toner and moisturizer too and after 1 week people were complimenting me on how clear, even, and healthy my skin looked. I'm never going back. Thank you Kiehl's!

This cleanser is AMAZING!!
I tried this cleanser for the first time yesterday and OMG! I don't think my face has ever been this clean before. I have combination/oily skin and have used tons of different cleansers looking for just the right one to deep clean my pores and remove excess oil. This is the one! After using Ultra Facial oil-free cleanser my skin was so soft and perfectly clean. This cleanser doesn't strip my skin of oil or leave a tight, dry feeling which often leads to even more oil. It feels balanced and clean. I follow up with the Sodium PCA oil-free moisturizer which I also love and my skin has never felt better. The next thing I'm eager to try is a Kiehl's toner. I am so addicted to Kiehl's!

Over the last 6 months my skin has got more oily sometimes I can wipe the oil off with my hand. After having a few outbreaks and trying various regimens including Liz Earle, Neutrogena and No7 I got fed up and went to Kiehls Trafford Centre. I had a skin consultation and was told my cheeks were in fact dehydrated and my t zone oily. I was recommended this cleanser with the oil free gel cream and calendula toner. After only two nights I can see a massive difference, my skin feels more balanced and less clammy. My blemishes are also reducing before my eyes. I will definitely be buying more. It will last ages as I am only using a tiny amount with a muslin cloth so as not to rub my skin too much.

Controls Oil Without Over Drying
I like the way the Ultra Facial Oil Free Cleanser feels on my skin. I think that it actually cleans my face without feeling like its over drying my skin like other cleansers tend to do. I love how this controls the oil on my skin. It's great.
I have sensitive skin that used to be very acne prone. I use this line to control my surface oil to prevent acne from forming. 100% suggest this to those who have adult acne and want to control oil.

FINALLY!
This is the PERFECT cleanser for oily skin! After using it by face feels clean but not stripped like it can with some other cleansers that are meant to target oily skin. Part of what makes this so amazing is that it is sulfate free and actually lathers amazingly! Other sulfate free products I have tried in the past have either not lathered well or didn't seem to clean as well as I would have liked. A serious clean for me is necessary because I, like many other people with oily skin, have fairly large pores. I also have acne prone skin and I have had any breakouts since I started using this new oil free line 4 weeks ago. I got my sister to try this product and now she is hooked as well! FYI for the ladies, my sister says that if you wash with this cleanser twice it gets ride of the need for any sort of cleansing oils to take your makeup off.

Best face wash out there!
I was looking for a new face wash when Kiehl's came out with this line... I decided to bite the bullet and try it... even without a sample first. Gasp! Thank god my instincts were correct because this is the best face wash I have ever purchased. While it may be a bit more pricey than your average over the counter face wash it LASTS FOREVER! I bought my first tube in mid January and just finished the whole thing. That's about 8 months... one tube of face wash! A small drop lathers enough to clean your whole face, and I wash my face about twice a day as I have oily skin. A little goes a very long way while leaving your skin clear and clean from all of the makeup and debris of the day.

My Skin Has Never Been So Clear!
I tried this cleanser because my boyfriend gave me a sample and asked me to try it. Even just using the sample one time I was completely amazed. My Favorite part was that it is such a quick lathering soap and it is so thick! I went out immediately and bought a large bottle to keep in the cabinet. I have been using it for maybe 2 weeks now and I have been so happy with the way my skin has been looking. I am never one to get compliments on my face and just yesterday my friend turned to me and said, "your skin looks amazing. you are practically glowing!"
If you have oily skin, I reccomend this cleanser because your skin will never get dried out and at the end of the day you aren't shiny like many other cleansers leave you.
My biggest fear is that this cleanser will be discontinued. Im going to stock up now!
