Love this product, but can only use it at homeKiehl's, please come up with different packaging for your 2.9 ounce travel size. This product cannot travel! It doesn't matter if traveling in carry-on luggage or by car, it still leaks. Never put it in checked luggage!I have even tried putting plastic wrap all around the bottle and under the cap. Whatever I have tried, it still leaks. The only time it did not leak was when traveling by car and keeping the bottle upright in the cup holder. I have used other oil products that do not leak as they were packaged appropriately for the consistency of the product. Please make a change so I can use this product both at home and while away.

Good for EveryoneLet me first say answer any future questions:
When can I use this? Whenever you want to wash your face. Doesn't matter if it's morning or night, if it works - works.
Will this get my makeup off? Yes, very well actually.
Is this bad for oily skin? No, this isn't going to make you oily or dry or whatever, if you use the proper routine to follow - you'll find that your skin will love this.
Since the day I received this, I know that the Midnight Recovery Cleansing Oil will be a staple to my routine. I can't wait to see how long this bottle lasts me and I'm excited to see what other sizes will come.

Number one oilMy review on this amazing oil.
I am a very big fan of shu uemura cleansing oil. But after receiving this. I am totally converted. While the Shu uemura oil is the best for removing the toughest waterbased proudcts. I feel with the Kiehl's midnight recovery this cleanses and repairs the skin. I had a few out breaks before using this with getting back into excersing around the chin area. I wish I had taken a pic so you could see. Within a week of using this the redness and breakouts have totally gone.
I am really impressed with this product. The lavender and primrose oil makes your skin super moisturised and smooth.
I also like to use this with my clarasonic too.

a great way to prep for bed[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone with oily skin, I never thought in a million years that I would be extolling the virtues of a cleansing oil. I have refused to try them in the past because I thought they would exacerbate my oil. But being that I will try anything that Kiehl's releases, and because I am a huge fan of the other Midnight Recovery products, I decided to give this a try.
The texture is lightweight and luxurious, and the scent is nearly identical to the Midnight Recovery Concentrate. The trick is to apply this to dry skin and massage it prior to adding water.
This does not give you the same dry, squeaky clean feeling that regular cleansers do, but that isn't a sign that it isn't actually cleansing. My skin is insanely soft after I use this, and it preps my skin for the routine to follow in a really incredible way.
This is a great product.

Life changingI am 42 years old and have been plagued by congested skin my entire adult life. My pores are large and clog easily, both white and blackheads. I usually give any Kiehls product a try, along with any high end reputable product. And usually I get the same results. I had long resigned myself to being this way forever, and feeling self conscious about getting too up close with anyone. Well based on some reviews, I decided why not and I purchased a bottle. Within the first use I noticed a difference. Now I've used it a week and it looks like I've had the best darn facial of my life.
This is amazing. Its my first review ever, im so excited to share this with others who feel self conscious over chronically congested skin. The only con is that Kiehls didn't invent this earlier! I'm going to buy several bottles. Don't ever discontinue!

Miracle in a bottle[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got 1 small sample of this and before I had used up the sample, I noticed that my skin tone was evening out. Before I used this product, I had large dark spots on my cheeks which I believed was mask of melasma. This product faded my spots dramatically and left me with much clearer, even skin tone. And I have only used it for 2 weeks. It is an oil, so I have seen a small increase in break outs, but it is worth it. I am happy with my improved skin and would recommend this product to anyone with uneven skin tone.

Amazing!Who knew that cleansing your face with an oil could be so divine? Two pumps and all my makeup is gone and my skin has the most unique feeling I've never had before. If feels clean, fresh, and like it's able to breathe more. Strange explanation I know, but I have used strictly Kiehl's products for a few years now and none of their products have made my skin feel this way. I alternate this cleanser (use at night) with the Calendula cleanser (in the morning). I follow this with the Midnight Recovery, or the Overnight Biological Peel, or the Nightly Refining Micro Peel depending on my mood. My skin has never been clearer or had better texture. I am 45 years old and live an area that gets harsh winters so I'm betting this cleansing oil with also help keep my skin from drying out. Trust me, you don't feel greasy after using this, there is no film on your skin. You just feel so clean and the smell is delicate and relaxing. I love this!

please don't ever discontinue this product KiehlsI have tried MANY cleansing oils/balms through the years and this is now my favorite. I wear a full face of makeup including waterproof mascara/eyeliner and this removes it all. I take about a pump of product into my hands, warm it up then gently massage onto eyelids until I feel my makeup melting away. It does not sting like some oils do when I peek to see if I've melted all the eye makeup off. Then I take 2 pumps of the oil for the rest of my face. It smells exactly like the Midnight Recovery Oil, but the texture is lighter. When you wash the oil off, it comes off without feeling any residue unlike some oil cleansers where you can still feel like there's a layer of oil left on your face (particularly the ones that have mineral oil. this one doesn't). I will still use my clarisonic with a non-oil cleanser like Ultra Facial Wash or Calendula face wash to get a deeper cleanse after using the Midnight Recovery Oil Cleanser. I'm not sure how long it will last me if I use about 3 pumps once a day, but honestly, I don't mind spending a little more for this excellent product vs. using the drugstore cleansing oil I've been using that is totally sub par to this. Thank you Kiehls! love this stuff!
