Formula 133 is the BEST hair conditioner ever created. My hair is thick and baby fine with blonde highlights. The ONLY WAY I can get a comb through my hair after the highlights is with Formula 133. The comb literally floats through my hair. Without Formula 133, my hair is tangled like a spiderweb. Someone left a bottle of this in my NY loft 35 years ago. I have never been without it since then. I am 59 years old, and because of my hair looking so young, everyone thinks I am 40. I only use it on wet hair after I shampoo. Then I comb it through in the shower, and rinse off the top of my hair, and leave it on the ends. I do not add more as a styling aid after my hair is dry.

Bring back leave-in conditioner!
I have very fine, very thick hair (diameter of individual hair is small but there is a lot of it). It dries out easily, & also gets weighed down easily. This product is not a replacement for Leave-in Conditioner, which I used every day of the world. I have tried rinsing it & I have tried leaving it in. It really dries my hair after a week or so & also gives it a sort of gummy texture after awhile. It's still a better product than most other non-Kiehl's things, & my hair still looks okay, but I can't use it every day. It could work great for somebody with a different hair type. Also it smells like urinal cakes.
Please please please bring back leave-in conditioner!

Bring Back Kiehl's Leave-In Conditioner
Formula 133 is a poor substitute for the discontinued Kiehl's Leave-In Conditioner. Bring back the TRUE star! My virgin hair is 4a, 6-8" long, tightly coiled, and course. I used F133 as an apres shampoo conditoner. It left my hair dry and wirey. I used it as a leave in, but I had to follow up with a competitor's product to restore moisture and spring. THEN I used a 50/50 mix of Panteene conditioner and F133 as a deep treatment BEFORE my shampoo. I hit pay dirt. F133 didn't dry out my hair then. I followed up my routine with a quarter sized squeeze of F133 and coconut oil (or F133 with Miracle 7) then blew dry. I am not sure if I'd purchase F133 again. But, I will finish the bottle.

Does NOT Replace Discontinued Kiehl's Leave-In Conditioner
I continue to mourn the loss of Kiehl's amazing Leave-In Conditioner. I have been unable to find anything to replace it. So, per staff recommendation, I gave this product a try, but it simply did nothing positive for my fine, at times frizzy and/or fly-away prone hair. After using this product, my hair looked weighed down and ever so slightly greasy. I cannot urge Kiehl's strongly enough to bring back the leave-in conditioner (in the exact formulation it was previously sold) so its legions of loyal costumers who need it can once again have beautiful tresses. I know it was a popular product and I cannot understand why you would remove a very effective product and replace it with an ineffective one - at least for people with my hair type.

The best
My hair is dry from the cold, dry weather and frizzy from the blow dryer and straightener. I have tried every conditioner, both drug store and salon, with no luck. I tried this conditioner and it has transformed my hair. I used to be able to put conditioner on my hair when it was dry and it just soaked it up. My ends were frizzy and untamable. This conditioner has made my hair look great. Its full and soft and doesn't make it greasy like other conditioners. I use it and after rinsing put on a little more on the ends and don't rinse. I love love love this product.

African American Hair
This product used with Kiehl's Amino Acid Shampoo is the best combination I have yet to experience for our hair, this includes the so called products made only for our hair.
I've used it when my hair was processed, when my hair was natural and now that it is colour treated it works perfect to nourish our hair leaving it soft and manageable without a need for oils!

Fantastic detangler!
This is a GREAT product! I have super fine and thin hair, which is also oily, and I need to shampoo daily. This is THE best detangler ever!!! Don't ever discontinue, please! I simply couldn't live without it. Also, I need very little and the big 16+ oz. bottle lasts me years (really!).
It's not quite as fabulous as a conditioner, but if you leave it in a bit longer, it's much better. I sometimes add a little other conditioner with it, especially in winter. I have never used it as a leave-in.

My Favorite Conditioner
I have been using this conditioner since 2003 (my sophomore year of high school). I have had weak moments, when I will buy a different conditioner, and I ALWAYS regret it. I have fine, but thick, wavy hair, which tangles easily. This conditioner is light, de-tangles my hair perfectly, and leaves my hair so soft and shiny. I use Kiehl's Amino Acid shampoo, and I cannot imagine what I will do if either of these products ever disappears.
