Better Than The Rest
This is the only firming and lifting men's lotion/cream I have ever used that separates itself from the lot. Other 'creams' seem to always resemble lotions, and none of them really stand out. This one is truly a nice, thick, dryer cream: a texture I would expect for firming and lifting. Contrary to other reviews, due to the thicker texture this is the only cream I've used that does NOT go on greasy when applied to my dry to normal skin. Consistent look and feel throughout the day. Has a soft menthol-ish scent. I am nearing 43 and people cannot believe my age, thanks to products like this, the bamboo toner, facial fuel face wash, midnight recovery, and quinoa extract serum.

Noticeable benefits quickly
I love the age defender cream. I am a man in my mid-30s and a few years ago I noticed I started to look a little worn, with dry dull skin. I'd never used any type of moisturizer at that time. 4 years ago I bought the age defender cream and started using it every morning. After only a week I noticed a significant difference in the look and feel of my skin. Now even if I go a few days without using it, my skin still maintains a young healthy look. I am very happy with this product. Also, I noticed that many of the bad reviews for this product a people complaining about the discontinuation of another product that this replaced. I feel that is unfair to this product as it works great!

Non-greasy cream moisturizer
I started using the moisturizer after buying a set that included it and the eye cream. I really like it, and I came back today to buy a new jar since I'm near the end. I'm really surprised to see reviews complaining about texture and residue. Maybe people are applying too much? You do not need to apply very much to smooth it out across your skin. My skin is very soft and looks great. My skin is slightly oily on my face, a bit dry on my neck, and the cream works well across all of it. I'll wash my face in the shower, then apply the moisturizer about 10 minutes after I've finished showering. The routine works for me, I'm kind of curious how people with bad experiences are applying it.

Feels good. Works.
I'm 70+ male. I've been using Facial Fuel, Toner and Hand Salve for over a decade, all great products. I decided to try the Age Defender Cream as my skin is often dry, especially in Midwest winters. I had tried the A-D gel, which I did not like, and it appears to have been discontinued. A small amount of this product is good protection after shaving and at night, my skin does feel better, is firmer, and feels "moisturized". Like most Kiehl's stuff it absorbs quickly, leaves little residue or stickiness. I think you have to be careful applying it near your eyes, and there is a definite slight "sting" on application especially after shaving. I'm going to stick with it, and see what happens over time.

Get the SET
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was shocked to read some of the negative reviews about this product, that i had to write my own experience with it.
I have been using this product for a little over 2 months now and i have been getting complements on my skin like i never did before.
My recomendation on great results is to to get the whole SET.
(Age Defender Serum, Eye Cream, and Moisturizer)
After application, your face may look a little greasy but the skin will soak it in. Also, you don't have to apply A LOT!
I use the whole set morning and night. At night however, after applying the serum, I apply midnight recovery serum also, then i apply the Age Defender Moisturizer.
Use the whole set to notice results, i'm serious!

I was recommended this product by a very helpful Kiehl's sales associate since Facial Fuel Anti-Wrinkle Cream(I have been using religiously)has been discontinued. I use Age Defender Eye Repair and I really like it so I assumed that I would also like this product. I was wrong...this product makes my facial skin extremely greasy no matter how small portion I applied. By the end of the day my face becomes so oily and so shiny with this product. I just wish Facial Fuel Anti-Wrinkle Cream had not been discontinued. I hope I will see some other anti aging cream with a better performance.

Worst Kiehl product in my experience.
I've used a lot of different Kiehl products with much success, so when I saw that the age defender was specifically designed for men, I jumped on it (33 year old male).
This may sound blunt, but this product did absolutely nothing for me. It just made my face look greasy/oily and it's not even like my skin got any better. It was a waste of money to me honestly, I bought the 2.5oz jar and couldn't wait to just be done with it.
I've switched over to the Super Multi-Corrective Cream which is a lot more expensive, but I've noticed the difference right away.

Excellent collection of treatments
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the eternal struggle to fight off the inevitable signs of aging. Good products - especially once geared to men - warrant exploration. As a loyal Kiehl's custom I splurged on the entire ling of Age Defender products and am very happy with the overall results in a short two week period of time. The effect have been noticeable, especially diminished lines. The best judge is what other people say and the comments have been about looking "fresher, more relaxed" . I'll take that! Nothing wrong with a good defense - go for it. I will buy them all again.
