Does Not WorkKiehl's has discontinued two prior moisturizers I used, so I have been looking for a new one. Because of the good reviews, I bought this one, and I should have saved my money. I have oily skin. Instead of controlling oil and reducing shine, it did the opposite. Once I applied the gel in the morning, my face looked shiny, and the oil built up during the day. There is no matte effect. Pores do not reduce in size. Sometimes, as I applied it to my face, the gel would immediately flake. The gel is sticky. Do not buy this product. I am starting to become disillusioned with Kiehl's. They do not seem to have any good products for oily skin anymore.

AN UTTER SURPRISE!!!!This product has been the find of 2014 for me. I went into Glasgow store looking at products when a salesperson asked if I wanted to try to product. Being polite I said yes. I was not bothered either way. But the feel, texture and how it absorbed into the skin surprised me!!! I was now interested and was given samples initially. I have now brought the full size product.
It does not feel like any other moisturiser I have any used but does hydrate skin and leave no greasiness and your skin feel so supple. I have combination skin and it work perfectly for me
I will be looking at other Kiehls products much more closely in the future and buying them if they all work like this.

New Kiehl's Fan!The Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel-Cream is so awesome! I'm not having to constantly blot the oil off my T-Zone & my dry areas aren't flaky. I'm amazed! Very lightly dab your finger in the gel-cream & you'll be surprised how far it'll go. If your face feels sticky, you've put on too much. This jar will last quite a while, so it's worth every penny! This was my first order from Kiehl's (along with the Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Masque) & I'm 100% satisfied thus far. I'm excited to try more products & finally get the skin I've always dreamed of. Two enthusiastic thumbs up here!!!

Nothing Else Like it!![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone that has an issue with greasy skin after applying a facial moisturizer. I have searched for the perfect moisturizer and nothing else in ANY store compares to this. I put it on before I apply make up and it makes my skin feel amazing. My make up is never blotchy and my skin does not feel greasy after applying, even after I apply makeup. This product has changed my skin. It looks much healthier, brighter, and cleaner then ever before! Even my friends and family have complimented my skin. My roommate and boyfriend now use this product as well. I hope they never stop making this product!!

best moisturizer for combination + sensitive + acne[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the Ultra Facial Oil Free Gel Cream! It's refreshing & hydrating. My skin feels very moisturized without the oil. My face feels fresh, dewy & glowing!!!
I have sensitive combination & acne prone skin. It's soothing to my sensitive & acne prone skin. I use this Gel Cream after the Ultra Facial Oil Free Cleanser & Ultra Facial Oil Free Toner. Together my skin has improved dramatically within a few days. My acne, whiteheads, blackheard have cleared. My skin is more even toned, healthy, hydrated and best of all - NO acne!

Perfect for oily skinI usually use Kiehls ultra facial moisturizer, but since I stopped taking birth control my face has become SUPER oily (if I touched my forehead then my fingers would be greasy, blah). Well, then I started getting little pimples which I never had before and I started getting dry patches on my face from using acne cream! I decided to try this stuff and it has turned my world around. My face stays moisturized, soft, all the oiliness is completely gone...if you have normal skin then I would use the Ultra Facial Moisturizer, but if you have any issues with shine or oil on your face then this is gold. I bought the 1.7 oz and just a little goes a long way...it'll probably last me a good 3-4 months or longer so it's worth the price. I'd recommend to anyone!

Loving my skin[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im always skeptical when it comes to trying products that claim oil control my face gets so oily specially in the summer and humidity make my face look so nasty. I received this at the perfect time now that we are hitting triple digits and i was able to put this to the test. Im in love with this product! It makes my face feel so soft and hydrated without the oiliness! It also controls the shine. I wear this before i put my makeup on and it feels so nice! I definitely recommend this product for all my oily sisters!

Great Moisturizer[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have oily skin and have to be careful not to use too thick/heavy of a moisturizer. So, I was excited to try this oil-free gel cream from Kiehl's. I love that it's what I would consider a cleaner product in terms of ingredients (no fragrance, artificial colors, or parabens here). This is a really moisturizing gel cream that truly doesn't make my face shiny. It definitely lives up to its promises. However, I'm subtracting a star because it can leave my face sticky. If I'm really careful not to apply too much or rub it in well, it's not bad. Just something to keep in mind as I don't really care for that feeling on my face.
