BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA!It took me awhile to find a nightly facial cream that worked well to address wrinkles and did not cause me to break out. I've been using this product for a couple of years and was shocked when I opened a new jar. I thought I had been given a spoiled product. Instead of white, the cream was brownish in color and the texture was not smooth. After reading reviews, I realized that the formula had changed. I really tried to use the new cream, but it felt horrible on my face. I brought the creams back for a refund and was told by the employee, that she even hated the new formula! On to a different brand for me.

OUCH! THIS STINGS!!Like many others, I have to report that this stings my face and it feels like it is burning. For years I used Kiehls wrinkle reducing cream. They discontinued this product (PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!). Kiehls suggested I use the super multi-corrective cream as a replacement. Never again. The thing that is strange is that many customers are reporting this same burning/stinging sensation. Apparently this product used to work, but the new forumula causes stinging for many. Please do not discontinue products that work and please don't change the formula of products as well.

So far... so good[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a sample. I’ve been using it for almost 2 weeks. A little goes a long way! It goes on very smooth. I use it at night and my skin looks fresh in the morning. I apply the Vital skin strengthening super serum, then the midnight recovery oil (which smells AMAZING) and to seal the deal, I’ve been using this cream. I guess I haven’t noticed the “bad” smell others are complaining about because I smell lavender from the recovery oil. My face feels so smooth and maybe because I’ve been layering I noticed a difference in my skin. I have more of an even skin tone, the dark spots are lighter.

Stinging/burningI was about to think that I had a serious skin issue. Never did I think that my long time Kiehl’s product might be causing a stinging/burning sensation and redness with my skin until I read some similar reviews. (I had been using this product for YEARS, but with my recent jar - wow is there a difference.). FYI… i completely backed off of this product and and mu other Kiehl’s product (Vit C and Super Strengthening Serum) and after a couple weeks, my skin was back to feeling good. I haven’t given up on Kiehl’s YET but I think it is worth a look into process control for some clue as yo why this is happening.

Miss the old formula. Disappointed.I have been a loyal user of the original SMCC for about 4 years. Its expensive, but there were noticeable results and I cant say that for many face creams. It was perfect for my combination skin in all seasons. When the new formula came in, I was disappointed, but decided to give it a chance. The new smell doesn't bother me, as fragrance is a non issue for me. I am about halfway through the tub and I can tell my skin is drier, less plump, and less balanced. Unfortunately not worth the price anymore. I am so sad that I have to embark on the lengthy expensive journey to find another "perfect" cream.

Noticeable results, burning goes awayI’m generally a Kiehl’s fan of most products, and I think this one is one of the best. I’ve been using it about a week and definitely feel that my skin is smoother and I think the fine line are going away, too (although perhaps it’s wishful thinking!)
I had tried it previously and liked it. This time around it definitely burned the first couple times I put it on. I was a bit perplexed because I didn’t have issues before and thought maybe it was because my skin was dry. Not sure, but the third and subsequent times have not burned. Maybe your skin needs to get used to it? Not a problem any more and I plan to continue to use it.

Great Product, Weird New ScentI've used the super multi-correcting cream off and on for a few years (it's an occasional treat due to the price) and I've always loved the results! I decided to treat myself to another purchase and I have to say, the smell of the new formula is a bummer!! It used to have a light, lavender herbal scent and now it smells like mushrooms. It still seems to work just as well, but the smell is hugely disappointing. The lovely scent was one of the things I loved so much about this product. Please go back to the old formula!!

The new formula is a let down!I have used this moisturizer for over 3 years and it was worth every penny! It smelled amazing, gave me great results and loved how my skin looked and felt after use. I even got my husband using it. I just re-purchased it with the new formula and a major let down!! The great smell is gone and it does not seem to give me the same feeling after applying. Very sad Kheils changed this up. I have even tried other very expensive moisturizers and this was one I always raved about. Please bring back the old formula!
