Qué es
Se cree que nuestro característico aceite de almizcle, fue formulado originalmente en 1921. Reintroducido a los clientes en 1963, nuestro aceite de esencia de almizcle -también conocido como "aceite del amor"- es suave y limpio y amado por hombres y mujeres.
Para qué sirve
- Fragancia clásica y fresca de Néctar de Bergamota y Flor de Azahar con un suave aroma de Rosa, Lirio, Ylang-Ylang y Neroli
- Se seca con un final cálido de Nuez de Tonka, Pachulí Blanco y Almizcle
- Esencia característica de Kiehl's conocida como nuestro "Aceite del Amor" y que se cree que fue formulada por primera vez en 1921

Cómo se aplica
- Aplica el aceite de esencia de almizcle directamente sobre la piel

Original Musk Oil Back Again?
i, too, have worn this since the 60s - however, after the new corporation bought it, the essence oils appeared to get severely dilutted. what used to take several dabs for a day long scent that others could also smell, became a disappearing scent within an hour or less. - recent reviews really confuse me. has the original undilutted product been returned? one review sez it works like i remember and the next one relates my recent experience. - i really want the old stuff back, the scent that lasts, people-ask-you-what-you're-wearing lasting. do i have to risk buying another bottle? i have half a bottle now that is worthless...

best sent ever!!!
Kiel's musk oil entered my life 26 years ago. I was pregnant and could not stand the smell of perfume! I bought the oil as a gift for my mother -in -law, whom did not like the smell at all (typical mother-in-law) so I took it back from her and started using it. I was stopped everywhere to ask what scent I was wearing. Much to my surprise, I did not have any ill effects wearing Kiehl's during my pregancy. Needless to say, 4 kids later i still slather on the oil, followed by a spritz of the bottled perfume spray. I am so happy Kiehl's entered my life. As a matter of fact...it is know as my "signature scent!" Love it...

I heard it's being discontinued!
First let me say, this has been my signature scent for nearly 20 years now. I know there are other women and men who have been wearing it even longer than that. The spray version is simply no substitute for the sensuous perfection that the oil is.
After having undergone many changes (for the worse) since being bought up by a big company, Khiel's is now rumored to be discontinuing the oil!! It was bad enough when they stopped selling the big bottles, but this is devastating. To take away a signature fragrance is cruel.
If you love this product, write to Khiel's and don't let them take it away from us!!

My signature fragrance since 1966
I have been using the original musk oil from Kiehl's since I was in high school in 1966. My girlfriends and I would take the train into Grand Central and walk down to the original pharmacy where we would admire what ever display was there. The last one I remember was when they had vintage motorcycles right there in the showroom. But I digress. The product is incredible and everyone says how wonderful I smell. When they introduced the roll-on I was terribly disappointed, and had to hunt to find the original musk. I was told recently that Nordstroms will no longer carry it and I have to order it online. Oh well, small price to pay for an amazing product which I will wear forever!

My signature scent for over 50 years
For years my spouse used Kiehl's Rain. It's no longer available. And we miss it.
I've used Kiehl's Musk Oil since the early 1960's, every single day. It's my 'trademark'. My coworkers used to know when I had passed by. My neighbors know when I've been in the elevator or passed through the lobby. It's not something I 'wear', it's how I smell. It's a subtle, distinctive, light, 'captivating' and extremely positive and enjoyable fragrance. We've held on through the corporate changes to the fragrance product line. PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTINUE THIS PRODUCT.

Sophisticated Scent for Men and Women
This is a very sophisticated scent for both men and women. I personally think that the Musk Essence Oil smells a lot better, and more potent, than the aerosol and roller ball version. Put your finger over the top of the bottle, shake it upside down for a second, then put this oil on a few points on your skin. Don't use too much!
Tip: This over the spray or roller ball version!
From what I've been told, this musk oil was made for a prince's bride and in exchange they gifted the original Kiehl's New York store location with a beautiful chandelier.

So good you'll want to keep it secret
Since I started wearing Original Musk I have literally been told I smell good at least once a day. Friends and complete strangers! You need a tiny amount so it lasts longer than you would imagine for the size. The oil allows it to soak into your skin for more staying power - just make sure it dries before putting any clothing on it, especially silk (which has a tendency to soak up oil). At first I was reluctant to let people know what I was wearing but now I'm all about sharing the love. A great fragrance for men or women. I'm in this for life now!

kiehl's musk oil
I have been using this musk oil for at least 20 years. Just put your middle finger on the opening and let it coat the tip of your finger. lightly dab at your pulse points. I have read the other reviews about strangers asking about the scent...I can't tell you how many times that has happened to me. My son used to tell me that he could smell me on our dog...you don't need a lot and the bottle lasts a long time. Wish Kiehl's would make the larger size again. This has been and will continue to be my only scent...
