non-greasy, highly moisturizing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rad formula - despite it being called "oil" my hands and face are left moisturized, rather than greasy and shiny. It also smells awesome - pretty masculine but not overly manly.

Next Level Beard Game
I love this stuff. I have tried several other beard grooming products, but this is the best by far. The others have been either a lotion or paste consistency, but this oil really works the best for me. It makes my beard look awesome - moisturized and soft, but not too shiny or greasy. And it smells AMAZING. Definitely my new go to beard product. Although I just got it, I'm tempted to buy a second bottle already. Please don't stop making this.

Great while you are trying to grow and style a bea
I am using this as I am growing a beard. I usually apply this after a warm shower in the evening. Pat dry the beard with a towel and then apply the oil. It definitely accelerates the growth and helps the density of the beard.
I only started using this product two weeks after I started growing the beard. The difference is definitely worth shouting about. I can definitely say that my beard is better off for using this oil. And finally, the smell does not linger on. I hardly smell it once I have applied it. In any case, smell is quite pleasant without being overbearing.
Definitely recommend while growing a beard - first 6 to 8 weeks.

So So Beard Oil
Loyal Kiehl's fan here but must say that I am a little disappointed with this product. I have used the Facial Fuel face wash, scrub and moisturizer for YEARS so was excited when I saw a Kiehl's beard oil.
I do not mind paying a little extra for a quality product but this beard oil is priced a bit high relative to others I have tried over the years. My biggest complaint though is the smell. Going on, the oil has a similar scent to other products in the men's range and is very nice, maybe eucalyptusy? but when it dries down it smells sort of dusty and unpleasant. Others have smelled it on me and reaffirmed this. One smelled it after a few hours and thought it smelled leathery - I appreciated the positive spin but could not get on board with this description . Another friend thought it smelled makeup-y.
I'll continue to use it and not be as heavy handed putting it on as I was initially. I appreciate the ingredients, bottle is nice (sort of wish it had a dropper), is seemingly good quality. Just not my favorite especially for the price. I bought it blind and wish I had tried a sample first.

Great product
This oil is fantastic. I was very hesitant to use oil on my face because I really don't like my face feeling greasy. The oil absorbs very well into your beard and does not leave a greasy feeling at all, leaving a light pleasant smell and your beard feeling soft.
I also felt that I should mention I almost didn't buy the oil because of several complaining of the smell. It's really very faint and in my opinion smells good (most oils have a scent which is hard to completely eliminate). I would give it a try or at least sample if you're worried about the smell because in my view it's not bad at all.

Wonderful Beard Oil
This beard oil is amazing! Doesn't feel heavy or greasy, the smells isn't overpowering, and it's not expensive! Love the way this gets rid of 'beard dandruff' without being over moisturized.

Couldn't get over the scent
I was excited to try this beard oil since I've been on the hunt for the perfect product to condition my beard, and almost every Kiehl's product I've used has been a hit. Unfortunately for this one, I was not a fan. It's your basic beard oil, wasn't too greasy or shiny--but didn't really see much benefit from it. The one thing I couldn't get over was the scent. It just doesn't go with anything else I use, and clashed with my cologne. Not sure what it is, but not a fan. The bottle is mostly full and is tucked away in case I run out of my primary beard oil.

smells awful, getting a refund
This stuff smells like stale plastic. Not herbal, not woodsy, not cedar or sandalwood. Just stale plastic. Used once and will return it or throw it out. Do not buy.
