it's okay
my first impression of this product is that it has the consistency of a light syrup. it's a bit sticky and didn't lather well when i apply what i believe to be a normal amount. so i've been using more to reach the lathering level i desired. the smell is very sweet and wheat-y, not the typical shampoo smell you'd expect. some people love it, some people don't. i usually have to followup with the formula 133 grooming aid for the tips of my hair since they do get dried out and tangled. i did notice a bit of a volume in my hair after use (my hair is naturally very very flat) but again, not to the level of my expectation.

skepticism changed to pleasantly surprised
My hair, although I have a full head of it, is very fine. Thank heavens for Creme With Silk Groom. I was very skeptical of a shampoo product that claims to volumize because every other one I tried that claimed to have that effect was a lying miserable failure. My brother-in-law, to whom I introduced Kiehl's products, gave this one a try and told me that he liked it. I decided to try it and the difference it made in my hair is absolutely remarkable. I've noticed a definite improvement and more than a few people have told me that my hair looks fuller.. This shampoo treatment followed by styling with Creme With Silk Groom is a winning combination. I bought a bottle for my significant other and now she's hooked on it.

Smells Great, Works Great, Feels Great
It's official-I'm addicted to everything Kiehl's! This is one of my favorite smelling shampoos in the world! I have fine hair but lots of it...thus, leaving my hair feeling heavy, droopy, and sad because it has no life. I bought this shampoo & conditioner and am so happy with my hair! Even if I don't blow dry it right after, I still have peppy hair. It's bouncy! It's shiny! It's lightweight and airy! I would really recommend this to anybody looking for a healthy and wonderful smelling shampoo (and conditioner..the two go hand in hand, no?!).

SLS should be listed for those who are allergic
Kiehl's really ought to list ALL the ingredients of each item on its web site. Sodium laureth sulfate (SLS) isn't given as an ingredient. Many of us cannot use shampoo with SLS more than a few times without having a reaction. This is probably a great shampoo, but unfortunately I will not be able to use it and will have to return it for a refund. I would recommend to a friend who isn't sensitive to SLS.

volume, finally!
I have always had flat hair and nothing have worked really well so far. I have honestly tried whichever products out there, I had lost all the hopes to improve my condition. I have wanted to give a try to Kiehl's Rice and Wheat Volumizing Shampoo, immediately catch by his delicious perfume, not too strong and jet so yummy! While rubbing it on my scalp I have felt the hair were kind of "raising" themselves. After combing them, I've finally reached a sexy, perfect and full of volume hairstyle!

What I have been looking for
I started to give up my search for a shampoo and conditioner that would do "it all" - tame frizz, add shine, soften, improve the health of my hair... At long last, the Rice & Wheat Volumizing Shampoo is THAT product! I air dry my long, wavy, natural blond hair and this great smelling shampoo is INCREDIBLE!. My hair feels strong and lucious, it shines, and it doesn't bother me to catch a glimpse of it in the mirror anymore. Gone are my bad attitude about bad hair days.

can't stop touching my hair
i have almost no hair, very very thin, greasy roots and dry ends.
After using this shampoo for a first time this morning (with conditioner) my hair got volume while still wet, hair feels very light but moist. smells very nice too!!!
i tried many different brands, most of the expensive shampoos leaved my hair very greasy, and cheap shampoos leaved it dry.

Completely Changed the Texture & Volume of My Hair
I've always thought I could only get volume that lasted all day if I went to the hair salon. While I would try all sorts of hair products and styling techniques, I could never get my hair to feel light AND soft AND voluminous, and have it stay all day. This shampoo has completely changed that. Just by washing my hair with this shampoo and letting it air dry, not even styling it, my hair has noticeably more volume throughout the day and LASTS. And even sleeping on it, without using any product, the next day I wake up with volume that I was never able to achieve with hours of styling in the past. I didn't think this was possible - always doubted that a shampoo could do this. I cannot emphasize enough how this has made ever strand of my fine hair turn from limp, flat, and frizzy to soft and voluminous.
